Senior Designer at Girlfriend magazine: This was a very exciting role and a huge privilege for me to work on such an iconic title in the magazine industry. I worked closely with the art team - art director, junior designer and picture editor to conceptualise and create the complete redesign of Girlfriend which was the most popular magazine for teenage girls. I created sophisticated clean layouts whilst adhering to the GF style guide. I assisted the art director in the pre-production process also stepping in when necessary. I was responsible for liasing with marketing and advertising teams to create relevant Girlfriend brand collateral including online assets, product design, packaging design and events. I worked closely with the editor on fashion related pages and major marketing campaigns such as the Model Search.
